Emily Shaw is a licensed dietitian now available for counseling at the Student Medical and Counseling Clinic. The dietitian is a resource for all things food and nutrition. Counseling sessions are individualized to help student reach a state of overall personal wellness.

  • Appointments can be one time or reoccurring, based on each individuals goals.
  • Sessions are currently available at the Student Medical and Counseling Clinic
  • Sessions are typically a half-hour in length. 
  • Complete the Online Nutrition Preassessment prior to your first appointment.

Nutrition Counseling Appointments

Appointments can be scheduled for a number of reasons:

  • Weight loss
  • Healthy eating
  • Vegetarian and vegan diets
  • Diabetes
  • Disordered eating; bulimia, anorexia, and binge eating disorders
  • High cholesterol
  • High blood pressure
  • Gastrointestinal issues
  • Food allergies and/or intolerances
  • Sports nutrition
