Counseling Services

A Final Word

We at The Counseling Clinic can appreciate the difficult decision you are facing. Your internship year will be pivotal to your career aspirations. One of the most important factors contributing to the success of an internship is the match between the training provided and the intern's training needs. It is therefore essential that you understand as much as possible about what we have to offer prior to making the decision to apply to our internship program.

We take seriously our commitment to assist in the development of future psychologists. It is our belief that development is most likely to occur when individuals are given the opportunity to attempt new skills, secure in the knowledge that professional staff are available to supply expert knowledge and guidance. We work hard to create a safe and supportive environment in which our interns can grow.

I hope that this website has answered many of your questions.  If you would like a more in-depth look at our program and its many elements, our Intern Manual can be downloaded here.
