Important Announcement:  Our program will not participate in the match for the 23-24 training year.  We wish all applicants the best of luck in the match process and hope you find an internship that is just right for you.  We look forward to returning to our training program in 24-25.  


The decision you are about to make regarding where you will spend that year is very important and often difficult to make. The Counseling Clinic's staff prepared this informational web page to help you with this process. Many of your questions will be answered by reading the sections below.


As you read through this material, think about those points that are still unclear. Ways to contact us for further clarification of your questions will be provided on the last page of this document.

The internship is an organized health service psychology training program that provides supervised experiences in all Counseling Clinic services and functions. The program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the American Psychological Association. Verification of the program's accreditation status can be obtained through the APA Office of Program Consultation and Accreditation at (202) 336-5979 or by writing to 750 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20002-4242.
