Thank you for your interest in the Doctoral Internship program at Central Washington University (CWU). Your internship year is a crucial time period in your professional and personal life.

 


Update for Phase II Match Applicants:

We are currently seeking to fill two (2) positions for our 2017-2018 class.  Please noted the following regarding our Phase II Match processes.

  1. We will maintain our same minimum application criteria as outlined in our "Application Procedures" page (see link above)
  2. Applicants invited for an interview will be notified on Friday, March 3rd
  3. Interviews will take place March 6th through March 10th
  4. Interviews will be 30 minutes and be with the Training Director and one additional staff member
  5. Interviews will be either Skype or Phone, based on applicant's preference


Please also noted the following updates to our program:

 

  1. The Intern Stipend has been increased to $22,986 and will likely increase slightly during the 2017-2018 training year
  2. We are in the process of hiring a new psychologist
    • By the start of the next cohort of interns, we will have 3-4 licensed, supervising psychologists on staff
    • By January 2018, we should have 4-5 licensed psychologists on staff

The internship is an organized health service psychology training program that provides supervised experiences in all Counseling Clinic services and functions. The program is is accredited by American Psychological Association. Verification of the program's accreditation status can be obtained through the APA Office of Program Consultation and Accreditation at (202) 336-5979 or by writing to 750 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20002-4242.
