If you have concerns that you might be experiencing symptoms of depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety or other mental health disorders, there are some brief screening tools available to help you figure it out. If, after taking the assessment, you feel that it might be helpful to talk with a counselor, please call the Counseling Clinic (509-963-1391)
All information discussed during therapy sessions is confidential. Information will only be released when you specifically grant permission or when required by law.
In the event that the therapist determines that you may be seriously harmful to yourself or harmful to others or, if you confide that someone under the age of 18 years or a dependent is the victim of neglect, physical or sexual abuse, or elder abuse is reported, the therapist is required by law to report to third parties as necessary to prevent harm to you or others.
If you are under the age of 18 you are legally considered a minor and we cannot guarantee confidentially from your parents/guardians. If this pertains to you, please let the clinic know when you call and make an appointment so that we can discuss this with you personally.
If you have questions or concerns in this area please call: Rhonda McKinney, LMFT, Director of Counseling at 963-1391.
