Confidentiality

All information discussed during therapy sessions is confidential. Information will only be released when you specifically grant permission or when required by law.

In the event that the therapist determines that you may be seriously harmful to yourself or harmful to others or, if you confide that someone under the age of 18 years or a dependent is the victim of neglect, physical or sexual abuse, or report elder abuse, the therapist is required by law to report to third parties as necessary to prevent harm to you or others.
 
If you are under the age of 18 you are legally considered a minor and we cannot guarantee confidentially from your parents/guardians.  If this pertains to you, please let the clinic know when you call and make an appointment so that we can discuss this with you personally.
