Online Tutoring Services

Central Washington University is continuing to provide resources for students that have been moved online. The Academic Success Center (ASC) is now providing various tutoring options for students. Below is a table with more detail on each resource available to you!

University Writing Center
University Math Center 
  • Live Zoom appointments
  • Tutoring available for 100 level courses and higher level classes are based on supply.
Peer Assisted Learning Sessions (PALS)
  • Check your Canvas course for the link to your Zoom sessions.
  • PALS tutoring is offered for these subjects: Business, Chemistry, Chinese, Geography, Geology, English, Math, Music, Physics, Psychology, and Spanish
Online Tutoring (eTutoring)
  • Tutors are available from 5am to midnight all 7 days of the week.
  • Subjects include: Accounting, Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Economics, Engineering (circuits and digital systems only), Introduction to Psychology, Math (developmental math through calculus), Microsoft Office, Physics, Spanish, Statistics, Web Development (xHTML, CSS, and Adobe Dreamweaver), Writing (asynchronous, synchronous, and graduate-level)
Academic Coaching
  • Coaches work 1:1 with students to find strategies that lead to academic success.
  • Coaches will assist in time management skills, procrastination, test-taking strategies, and more.
