Graduate Dean's Award Recipient Announced

Master’s student Gina DeNoble has been selected to receive the School of Graduate Studies and Research Dean’s Award for individuals who have contributed or have made a difference to the university. This award is sponsored by the Center for Leadership and Community Engagement and Gina will be honored during the Evening of Recognition event on May 25, 2016 at 5:30 PM in the Student Union Ballroom. Evening of Recognition, an event coordinated by the Center for Leadership and Community Engagement, is now in its 19th year.

Dean Archer stated that Gina has shown exceptional work in both her academic pursuits as well as service to the graduate student community. Since she started her graduate level academic career as an Experimental Psychology Major in fall 2014, she has maintained a 4.0 GPA. She has shown dedication, initiative and exemplary work ethic as the founder and president of the new Graduate Student Association (GSA)  and was instrumental in the GSA obtaining club status. She has inspired other current and prospective graduate students to become part of the CWU community to not only address concerns of graduate students, but to offer professional development and informal peer relationship activities. The Grad School wishes Gina great success in her future pursuits.
