Graduation Procedures

Complete and submit Course of Study Form (MS Word document).

  • Before you complete 25-credit hours.
  • Requires signatures of advisor (or committee chair), the department chair, and the associate vice president of graduate studies.

Complete and submit the Substitution Form.

  • If you are substituting courses.
  • Requires signatures of advisor (or committee chair), the department chair, and the associate vice president of graduate studies.

If taking ACCT 596 Individual Study, complete and submit the following at least two weeks before the first day of class

Complete and submit Graduate Committee and Option Approval Form

  • As soon as you form a graduate faculty committee.
  • Requires signatures of committee members, the department chair, and the associate vice president of graduate studies.

Register for ACCT 700, Comprehensive Examination, at your location, to be taken your final quarter.

Request a final folder check from the Office of Graduate Studies.

  • During the first week of the quarter of graduation
  • During the first week of the quarter in which you will participate in commencement ceremonies

Complete and submit the Application for Master's Degree

  • Mailed to you by Office of Graduate Studies after final folder check is completed
  • Due by scheduled due date along with appropriate fee
