1. What is the deadline for applying to the MPA Program?

While the Office of Graduate Studies and Research has a Priority Application date of February 1, the MPA Program has a rolling admissions process by quarter.

3. When are courses offered?

Courses are offered in the evenings during fall, winter, and spring quarters. No MPA courses are offered during the summer. Each course is offered on either a Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday schedule. The electives occur simultaneously with their undergraduate counterpart and are therefore sporadic.

4. Where are the courses offered?

Courses are broadcast via live interactive television education among the Ellensburg, Des Moines, and Lynnwood campuses.

5. Do I need to complete the program in one year?

If you have completed your bachelor's degree in accounting, you can complete your MPA program in one year or two years. The one year program consists of taking three courses per quarter for three quarters. For the two year plan, it is probably best to take two courses per quarter the first year, so that you have time during the second year to prepare for professional certification examinations such as the CPA exam.
