Hola! My name is Areli Ruiz and I am currently a senior at Central Washington University. I am pursuing a career in elementary education with a minor in literacy. Being a second year student programmer of the CLCE team, I want to empower and help individuals find their voice on campus and within the community. Through my position, I am able to create and reinvent programs for the CWU students and community. On my spare time, I like to spend that time with family and friends, finding ways to further my career, or daydreaming about traveling.
I am currently a cohort member for the Cross-Cultural Leadership Program and for Chavez-King Leadership Institute. Both of these programs encompass big parts of my life, such as diversity, leadership, and positive social change. I am very excited not only to be working for such a great office, but to see that I am able to make a difference by simply being involved is extraordinary!
Hello everyone! My name is Bianca Sanchez and I am a sophomore this year double majoring in psychology and sociology. I first got involved with the CLCE my freshman year engaging in programs such as the Yakima River Clean Up and Wildcat Leadership Academy. This year I’m working as a program lead, ensuring the success of programs I participated in last year. I am also involved with a women empowerment club on campus called S.I.S.T.E.R.S, which is a club open to anyone who identifies as a woman! In my spare time when I’m not attending club meetings and doing homework I like to hang out with my friends and color to de-stress.

Hello! My name is Hannah May and I am a junior at Central Washington University. I am majoring in mathematics and secondary STEM education, with the hopes of being a high school math teacher. When I am not in the office, I like to spend my time with friends, watch movies, and integrate equations. Fun fact: Did you know that 2 is an odd number? It’s the only even prime number, and that’s pretty odd if you ask me!
