Unheard Voices

Every quarter, Unheard Voices highlights an underrepresented cause by holding a fundraiser concert. The performance feature student talent. Causes previously supported include fair trade coffee; veterans support; and fundraisers for shoes and bed nets for Bawa, Cameroon. (Quarterly)

Civics Week

Co-sponsored by the ASCWU-BOD, this event exhibits the exemplary work in the community that we as a University have done over the last year. In 2013, the program included a visit from Washington Secretary of State Kim Wyman and First Amendment activist Glen Greenwald. The CLCE joins with the Department of Communication for the First Amendment Fest and other activities co-sponsored by the Center for Diversity and Social Justice and Campus Life. (Spring Quarter)

Constitution Day

This annual display informs the campus community about the importance of the United States Constitution, voter rights and responsibilities as well as voter registration opportunities.  (Fall Quarter)
