Host a class chat
Our student staff are available to come into your classroom to speak with your students about volunteering on campus and getting involved in CLCE programs. Student staff can talk about programs specific to your class or about volunteering in general. Feel free to contact us via phone, email or stop by our office for more information.
Give a talk
The CLCE wants to help you speak to more students than those in your classrooms. Through Leadership Workshops, Bite of Insight and other programs, we can help you reach a wider audience.
We welcome faculty volunteers as much as student volunteers. Events such as the Yakima River Cleanup rely on tradition to thrive. By volunteering, you can show your students the importance of keeping traditions alive.
Just like volunteering, students will become more engaged when they see faculty engaging. Not only will you spend time with students outside the classroom setting but you will also become a greater part of the community around CWU.
Join the Academic Service-Learning Faculty Fellows. This collective of CWU faculty are committed to integrating community engagement within for-credit courses.
