Center for Leadership and Community Engagement

12th Annual Experience Leadership Project

The Center for Leadership and Engagement kicked off the 12th annual Experience Leadership Project (E.L.P) in September with the class of 2022!

During the 3 day duration at Camp Ghormley, 123 strangers became teammates and fast friends through ice breakers, games and leadership activities lead by their 12 leaders. Each day presented a different opportunity for students to grow as leaders and individuals while participating in activities including; the Leadership Discover Quest, L.E.A.D and faculty lead workshops. Students were not only introduced to fellow peers but they were also joined by C.W.U organizations including; C.W.U Recreation, Campus Police, Campus Activities, Residence Hall Association and faculty members. It was very important to each leader, staff and faculty member for the first year students to be aware of all resources available to them as Central students!
The CLCE has yet another great E.L.P experience this year and is looking forward to what these first year students accomplish during their time at Central Washington University and beyond! Good Luck this year, Wildcats! Keep up with us this year on Instagram and Twitter @ CWUCLCE
