Student Change/Drop Form LAJ

NOTE: If you are dropping a major or minor in another CWU department, you will need to request to withdraw through that department. We can only add/change Law and Justice department major/minor information.

*You must have a 2.25 GPA in order to declare your major/minor and you will be asked to submit your academic report that shows your current GPA.

**You can use this form to add/drop Law and Justice majors/minors OR to change your advisor.

***You can click here for a list of advisors.

Please send a copy of your Academic Report (AR) to laj@cwu.edu. We will not add your major/minor unless we receive a copy of your Academic Report.
*The standard degree program is offered at our main Ellensburg campus and our Des Moines and Lynnwood branch campuses. Classes are primarily in person, but may include some online or hybrid courses. The online degree program is reserved for students who do not have access to on-campus, in-person classes. For this reason, Ellensburg residents are not eligible for the online program. Classes are held online, but students at our Des Moines and Lynnwood campuses may choose to register for on campus classes at those centers if seats are available. **The LAJ major is a 60-credit program consisting of eight core classes and seven LAJ electives. Most students can complete this major within two school years. Students may need to take more classes outside of the LAJ curriculum to satisfy CWU's 180 credit graduation requirement. The LAJ minor is a 24-credit program consisting of three core classes and three LAJ electives.
