Purpose: To provide a single point of contact for the most current information on both planned and unplanned outages of university processes including, but not limited to, Outlook email, PeopleSoft, network connections, and telephone connections.
Post on intranet by lead (intranet can include any or all of the following: an announcement, the outage list.)

The time and duration
What processes are affected
Notify Service Desk
Service Desk is notified automatically when an outage is posted on the intranet.
