Length: Two hours

Description:  With Access, you can create relationships between tables to connect information that remains the same about a record to information that changes.  Relationships also allow you to create queries and reports that pull information from more than one table.  This course will cover the three different types of relationships and the most common types of queries. This class will be taught using the latest version of Access.

Prerequisites:  Understand the basics of Access and Windows.

Online options: Microsoft provides free online training for Access here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/access-help/ with videos and courses. You can also get free training for Microsoft Office programs for the PC via the Microsoft IT Academy. Instructions for setting up an account, logging on to the Microsoft IT Academy and a class list are available via the My CWU Links menu in MyCWU.
