ITAM Student Leo Lopez talks about the internship experience:
An Internship experience with an approved business or agency is a requirement of all students majoring in the ITAM programs. The goal of the Internship Program is to provide students with the opportunity to apply classroom learning and gain first-hand experience. It is a structured and supervised professional experience for which the student earns academic credit.
Important things to remember:
- Internships only occur during Summer Quarter
- Must complete RMT 379 - Internship Planning in Fall or Winter Quarter to start your internship experience
- The first draft of the Learning Agreement should be completed in May
- The Learning Agreement must be approved by the Internship Coordinator before you can begin working
Are you a current ITAM student and ready to begin the process of finding your internship? Contact your advisor to start the process and add RMT 379 into your academic plan.
