I am currently working as an Associate Professor in the Information Technology & Administrative Management Department at Central Washington University (CWU). Before joining CWU, I was an Assistant Professor and Director of the Management Information Systems (MIS) program at the Eastern Nazarene College in Massachusetts. I hold a B.S. in MIS, an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

I bring over ten years of professional and research experience in information technology management to my students. My research focuses on intelligent decision support technologies and E-business strategies. These efforts have resulted in contributions to the applied literature on information technologies that have been well-received in the research community. I have published over thirty papers in internationally-circulated journals and book series, including the International Journal of E-Business Research (IJEBR), International Journal of Decision Support System Technology (IJDSST), Intelligent Decision Technologies (IDT), Information Technology for Development (ITFD), and the Encyclopedia of E-Commerce, E-Government and Mobile Commerce.  I have also consulted for a variety of public and private organizations on IT management and applications.

I bring such efforts into my classroom as they are greatly enriching to my teaching and advising.  I strive to engage my students through creative and effective teaching. My knowledge base covers decision technology, information theory, intelligent systems, business strategy, and human-computer interaction. I have a strong multidisciplinary background that greatly contributes to my work, both in teaching and research. I am always seeking to identify new and novel ideas in teaching these multidisciplinary areas with the goal of continuously enhancing my academic and professional work. When not working, I spend most of my spare time enjoying music, reading books, traveling around, playing tennis and swimming.
