Who is lurking on your smartphone?
In today's interconnected world, we are faced with an ever-changing information environment and we have to educate ourselves on the vulnerabilities and threats this information is exposed to. We are bombarded with attacks from many different vectors, such as email, online banking, social media, and mobile devices, both from a personal and business perspective. Knowing how to navigate this environment and how to secure our personal information is becoming a critical task in all of our lives.
The presentations by CWU Professor, Dr. Gary Rogers and CWU CISO Andreas Bohman will touch on many of these topics and they will give you some relevant tips and techniques for keeping your data safe. Learn about cyber attacks, malware, botnets, and terms like hacktivism. Understand what CWU is doing to protect your personal information and your role in protecting it.
