We passed some very dry country, but it was fantastic. We stopped to take pictures where volcanoes had left their evidence.


This was a one day trip across the northeastern part of Washington State. Once again, we loaded up a white CWU van and headed out.


It was a long trip, but we planned to visit Steamboat Rock State Park.
We climbed up in the blazing sun and we looked down from the top of Steamboat Rock.


Those of us who made it to the top had a great sense of victory.
We walked down and after cold drinks, we were ready to continue to the Grand Coulee Dam Power Plant. It was a most amazing place! After an exciting day, we made our way back to Ellensburg!
