IT-Academy is a free resource for Students, Faculty and Staff to take online courses from Microsoft. Whether you are trying to become Microsoft certified or just want to brush up on your skills, we have the courses for you. Upon finishing a course, you will receive a certificate of completion; however, if you are looking for Microsoft Certification, you are required to go to a Certified Microsoft Testing Center.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to add this training into the Human Resources system for record keeping. Log into MyCWU > Employee Tab > Training Folder > Add Professional Training and enter the IT Academy courses.
Once signed in, you may search for classes in one of two ways:
Click the Browse courses link toward the upper left portion of the page. Doing so will display a window that shows broad course topics. Click on the link for the broad topic you are interested in to view the courses that are available under that broad topic.
Type a search term (i.e. outlook) in the Search for courses field in the upper right portion of the page, and then hit |Enter| on your keyboard or click the magnifying glass search button. Doing so will display the courses available that relate to that topic.
For further assistance with IT Academy, click the Help topics link in the upper left portion of the IT Academy page, or refer to the topics in the blue Help topics box.
