There are three variations of Sick Leave Plans for exempt employees:
Since June 7, 1996, all new exempt employees are in the Sick Leave Accrual Plan. Time is submitted on buff-colored "REQUEST FOR OR REPORT OF ABSENCE" form.
In June 1996, all Exempt employees chose either to convert to the Sick Leave Accrual (SLA) Plan or to remain in the Disability Leave Plan.

The Disability Leave Plan (DLP) only provides time away from work for the employee's own incapacity to perform regular duties as a result of an accident, physical or mental illness, or pregnancy. Disability Leave cannot be used for family member illness or medical appointments.
