Phase 5 - Selection Process

Joy Corbett , Recruitment Specialist, will assist the hiring department and/or search committee to develop initial screening tools and interview questions. She will conduct the background check on your final candidate and is available to answer your questions about reference checking procedures:

  1. Preliminary screening example (required prior to screening date)
  2. Secondary screening example (Optional)
  3. Phone and in-person interview sample questions and guidelines:
  4. Reimbursement and travel procedures for applicants
  5. Reference check procedures
  6. Background investigation procedures
  7. Moving/Relocation Reimbursements (contact Purchasing)

Reminder: Throughout the selection and screening process, remember to update each applicant's status and forward your finalist(s) for approval in PeopleAdmin.
