CWU supports and encourages mentoring relationships between employees with different levels of responsibility and areas of experience. Mentoring facilitates the development of professional goals and skills through interpersonal relationships, and may include a wide range of activities such as coaching, teaching, advising, guiding, and role modeling. Mentoring relationships are most often one-to-one; however group settings with one or more mentors assisting multiple peer mentees may also be utilized.
