Welcome to the Central Washington University family! The chart below lists what new employees (Civil Service or Exempt) and their supervisors will need to do prior to and on the first day of employment:
Login to MyCWU (my.cwu.edu) and go to > Employee Tab > Personal > Complete and Submit I-9 Form > follow the instructions.
**If you are an alien authorized to work in the United States, please go to the International Office to verify your I-9.
A CWU New Employee Ambassador will contact you to answer your questions. This Ambassador will help you find your way around campus on your first day.

In accordance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, Form I-9 must be completed to prove identity and employment eligibility. As a condition of employment, Section 1 of Form I-9 must be completed no later than your first day of hire.
Step 2: Bring verification documents to Human Resources by your third day of employment.

If you are not located in Ellensburg, documents may be represented at a CWU Center. If you are out of the area, please locate an I-9 Reciprocal Processing partner at: www.cupahr.org/i9/index.aspx.

Meet your New Employee Ambassador at 8:00am in the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC).
Supervisors can locate a New Employee’s ID via Manager Self Service
1. Take you to the Connection Card Office in SURC 131 to obtain your Connection Card2. Take you to the new Employee Welcome/Orientation Session at 8:30am3. Invite you to eat lunch together at 12pm in the CWU SURC Cafeteria4. Guide you on a tour of campus and stop at the following locations:
To request specific network access, submit a Service Desk request via MyCWU or www.cwu.edu/its-helpdesk.
