Mandatory Training for Supervisors

Skilled supervisors improve employee morale, decrease turnover, and help reduce grievances and litigation. To support our supervisors, CWU provides foundational training for new supervisors as well as opportunities for individualized and ongoing growth.

Required Training for New Supervisors

Supervisor Enrichment Program (SEP) - Foundation CertificateWithin 6 months of becoming a supervisor
New CWU supervisors are required to complete 24 hours of supervisory level training within their first 6 months in position. This is fulfilled by completing the SEP Foundation Certificate.

Step 1: Attend Leadership Skills for New CWU Supervisors.

Step 2: Choose 8 hours of additional training from the SEP Course List. Online and instructor-led options available.
