Founded in 1891, CWU is a master’s degree granting institution with a main campus and seven regional centers serving approximately 10,000 students and 1,500 faculty and staff. With the main campus located in Ellensburg, only two hours east of Seattle, CWU offers more than 160 undergraduate and graduate degrees. CWU offers its diverse student body real-world experience in their studies including aviation, construction management, global wine studies, engineering technology, and geology.
We are also home to the College of Education, one of the nation’s largest schools of education and a leader in assessment innovation.
