Phase I: Wildcat Day

Thanks for joining us on Wildcat Day 2014!

Wildcat Day is Phase I of Central Washington University's four-tiered fall new student orientation program. This program is designed to introduce accepted students and their parents/guests to Central pride, provide you with information about academic departments and majors and provide an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about Central.

Please join faculty and staff from across campus as we celebrate the first step on your road toward graduation from Central.

Where to Stay?

Although Wildcat Day is a one-day event, we recognize that some of our guests may choose to spend one or more nights in Ellensburg and may require a hotel. All hotels are conveniently located within two miles of campus. Visit the NEW website.

CWU is unable to recommend or endorse any of the hotels. Reservations are the sole responsibility of the student and/or the parent/guest. We encourage you to make your reservations with the hotel as soon as possible as rooms may be limited.

What to do in Ellensburg?

Ellensburg is centrally located in Washington State with the Cascade Mountain Range to the west and the Columbia River to the east. We invite you to the scenic Kittitas Valley where you can enjoy an abundance of outdoor activities for any season. Come and explore our historic downtown, museums, galleries, shopping, experience our fine dining, or join us for one of our many festivals and events.

For more information about what to do in Ellensburg and the surrounding area please visit the NEW website.

Our other phases of orientation:
