  1. Do you have to register for Wildcat Day?

Wildcat Day is a non-registered event, so please just show up. Check in starts at 8AM at the Student Union and Recreation Center located on E 11th Ave. Your parents and guests are welcome to join. If by chance you have any future Wildcats in the family considering CWU we also have an admissions session for them as well.

  1. I am not available during the offered times of Discover orientation. What should I do?

Discover Orientation is required for all incoming fall 2013 First Year and Running Start students. We encourage you to work to make one of the five orientation two-day events. If by chance you cannot contact us at discover@cwu.edu or 509-963-2735. If you do not attend, you will not be able to register for Fall 2013 until later in the summer. We will work with you and advising to get you registered. Again, if you are able to change your plans to make one of the five sessions we will expect this.

  1. I am a First Year student for Fall 2013, is Discover Orientation mandatory?

Yes, all incoming, first year, and running students are required to attend.

  1. Should my parents attend summer Discover orientation?

Yes, there is a separate track of orientation dedicated to parents and guests of our incoming students. We hope that you are able to bring a family member to help support your success transitioning to CWU. Parents and guests will also have the opportunity to sign up for the parent and family program and receive important materials and information.

  1. I am a Transfer Student for Fall 2013, is Discover Orientation mandatory?

No, but it is highly recommended and beneficial to attend one of the one day session designed specifically for transfer students.

  1. How can I change or cancel my registration?

Please go to www.cwu.edu/discover. Click on the link that says "Discover New Student Orientation Summer Sign-Up" and type in your student ID number again. You will be able to edit anything you need to from here.
