All assignments will be made by clicking on the Residence Hall Reapplication link. To log into the reapplication screen, you will need your student Novell user name. This is the same user name that is required in the on-campus computer labs. An example will be shown on the login page.
All residence hall assignments will be made in real time. This means that as soon as a room is assigned it will not be available for anyone else to choose. If the room is a two-person room and only one person is assigned into it, it will show bed "2" available. Roommates requesting one another are REQUIRED to give complete names and student ID number of each person.
The process for choosing a room in a living learning community or theme community REQUIRES all students, including current LLC students, to do the following:
If you are currently living in an LLC area and choose not to participate in an LLC, you can apply for an open space during the appropriate room selection time frame of same hall/different room or different room.
ROOMMATE PREFERENCE: The same hall/same room application allows you to choose only your current roommate(s). LLC/Theme Community participants living in a 3-person room and requesting roommates are allowed only one non-LLC roommate.
Students are eligible to choose a room ANYTIME AFTER the lottery number has been activated according to the posted schedule. If there are 2 or 3 students requesting to be roommates, the student with the first lottery number will be reserving the space for roommates. The roommate are also required to complete a contract at their appropriate lottery time.
Example: If your lottery number is 324 and your number is eligible for signup on Tuesday, February 25, 9:30 a.m. but you are in class, you are able to signup anytime after 9:30 a.m. on February 25. If your roommate request's number is 1942, the space is reserved when student number 324 applies and the roommate request with number 1942 will need to complete a contract later at his/her lottery date and time. Failure to complete a contract will result in the student with the 1942 as a lottery number to lose the reservation.
