The Tom Ogg chapter of NRHH has three distinct memberships within our organization. While there are certain restrictions on some members, every member plays a vital role in NRHH and is important in the growth process. Below is a description of each membership type and the qualifications needed for that membership.
Our organization typically does two membership drives during the year in effort to increase our numbers. This is an important time because we are always looking for creative and committed people to take interest in NRHH. Membership drives will be announced and advertised and applications can be filled out on line under the Applications link in the menu.
Honorary members are those residents that show outstanding service and devotion to the interests of the residence halls. Honorary members have no voting privileges, however, they are still expected to fulfill all the expectations laid out in their interest of the organization. While a vital part to the success of the "Tom Ogg" Chapter the national office does not recognize honorary members as members of National Residence Hall Honorary.
Active members are defined as students currently living the residence hall at CWU. They shall fulfill all the expectations laid out in their interest of the organization and will be the only members with voting privileges.
Alumni members are former active members that no longer live on campus or have graduated from the university. They will have no voting privileges, but will still receive information about the organization via email.
