WAHLE, GETZ-SHORT & BROOKLANE VILLAGE PARKING NOTICE:
If you are leaving your car unattended at your apartment complex during break, please make sure to take anything of value out of your car that might attract attention. Vehicle theft is often a crime of opportunity. There are steps you can take to help prevent vehicle theft and prowls. Never leave your keys in the vehicle, your car running, or a duplicate key on the outside of your vehicle. Completely close all your windows and lock your doors every time.
If you are concerned with your car’s safety at your apartment complex, you have the option to move it to the N-19 parking lot by the Music Building. Parking permit requirements will not be enforced for the N-19 lot only during the following dates and times and police will be doing extra checks of the N19 lot to reduce the likelihood of break-ins:
· Winter Break
o You can begin parking in N-19 LOT ONLY without a permit starting on Thursday, December 06, 2012, at 4:00 p.m. – No permit needed
o Your vehicle must be moved by Wednesday, January 02, 2013, at 6 a.m. – CWU permit needed
