This is just a reminder that abstracts are due by Friday, February 15, 2013 for those of you who want to present at this year's Northwest Regional Phi Alpha Theta conference in Portland. The conference will be April 4-6, 2013, and participants will be expected to present an original research paper of no more than twelve pages. The conference is a good opportunity to get experience in oral presentation, and to have your work (gently) criticized and evaluated by a faculty member from another institution.
If you want to participate, please send an abstract to me electronically as an attached MS Word file ( knirckj@cwu.edu ) by next Friday, February 15, 2013 at 9:00 am. The abstract should be a 150-word summary of the paper you intend to present.
Further information about the abstracts and the papers can be found here: http://wordpress.up.edu/history/2012/12/18/call-for-papers/
