Vik Muniz is an artist of a different kind. A contemporary artist by trade, Muniz took one transformative journey from the world’s largest landfill to the silver screen in this emotional and uplifting documentary. By collaborating with local catadores, recyclers who live and work near the landfill, Muniz shows that it’s not just the garbage that can be recycled, but ourselves as well.
