Central offers an EMT certification program.
This is a 1 quarter course with associated lab. The classroom portion is 9 hours per week and 6 hours of lab time per week. The course is listed as EMS 250 (9 credits) and EMS 250LAB (3 credits). Currently, this course is offered during fall and winter quarter. There are no prerequisites for this course, but this course is a prerequisite to apply for the paramedic courses.
