Most physician assistant schools in the United States use a centralized application service, the Central Application Service for Physician Assistants (CASPA). The CASPA does not make admission decisions, but processes all applications.
The cost for a CASPA application is $175 for the first program you apply to. Any additional programs you choose to apply to will cost $45 per designation, even if you submit those programs later in the application cycle.
The CASPA application opens mid April through March 1st of each year for the following year's class. For specific deadlines, you should check the CASPA website and your top choices of potential physician assistant schools.
|Letters of Evaluation|
Students will need letters of evaluation from faculty, advisors, mentors, and/or committees. For more about how to submit letters of evaluation and which types of evaluations are accepted, please read more information here.
Most physician assistant schools do require an interview. Students who wish to practice their interview skills should make an appointment with Career Services at 963-1921.
