Class Descriptions

Battling Ropes Bootcamp (45 mins): This is our newest format in the group fitness program.  Battling ropes are large ropes you've probably seen on television programs like the Biggest Loser and Extreme Weight Loss Challenge.  Battling ropes are very a challenging way to train your entire body.  You'll experience a upper body and core workout like you've never experienced before, and get the arms, shoulders and abs you've always wanted.


Rock Hard Abs & Rock Hard Glutes (45 mins): 45 minutes of only abs or glutes?!? This class is sure to make you sweat!  This intense workout will focus entirely on making those tummies and hind ends work like they never have.  Non-impact and efficient, you will definitely “feel the burn” and be begging for more!  This class is suitable for all fitness levels.


Total Strength (45 mins):  No one ever drowned in sweat. That’s what you’re going to have to remind yourself in this 45 minute total body workout! You’ll be using your body weight and added weight to sculpt strong muscles in your upper body, lower body, and core. plyometrics, agility, and pure cardio will make you work every muscle group, so prepare to get your heart racing and sweat pouring! Total Strength is a great workout for everyone, and plenty of options are available for all fitness levels.


Yoga (45 mins): Yoga means to yoke, or to unite; it is the link between the body and the mind. In  vinyasa, or flow, yoga we will work on linking breath and body, brining the mind into the present moment while increasing strength, flexibility and cardiovascular health. Everyone is welcome to join, no experience necessary. Come as you are and be willing to let go of expectations and judgements as we mind space in our bodies and in our minds. No need to bring a mat or prop, we have plenty of everything for you to use!


Cycle Zone (45 mins): Are you looking for the fastest way to get your heart pumping and finishing that cardio session? Well Cycle Zone is your answer! In this class we hit it hard on the bike for 30 minutes to blast those calories and reach your cardio peak within the first few minutes. We ride through the climbs, jumps, squats, and sprints to get you the quick cardio session with lasting results! Want more? Perfect, that is not all because then we get on the floor and engage our entire body for a fast, but effective, strength and core workout! Arms, back, abs, booty, and more! This 45 minute high intensity workout will leave you feeling sweaty, accomplished, and ready for the next calorie smashing workout.


Zumba® (45 mins): Looking for a more motivating and flat out fun way to work out?  Then Zumba® is for you!  This class fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow dance moves to create a workout unlike any other.  The goal is simple: dance like nobody’s watching and have more fun than you’ve ever experienced in a workout class!  You don’t want to miss this one!  Zumba® is a great workout for all ages and fitness levels and no dance experience is required.


Suspension Bootcamp (45 mins):  Suspension training is a form of resistance training that includes bodyweight exercises in which a variety of multi-planar, compound exercise movements can be performed. These are done with the aim of developing strength, balance, flexibility, and joint stability simultaneously.  Bottom line is this class will train everything and do it the whole class.  Suspension classes focus on integrating core exercise in every movement.  


INSANITY (45 mins): Feeling crazy!? Then this intensely explosive workout is for you!  INSANITY is a maximum intensity workout class that, using body-weight resistance, makes the body work harder and longer and at a higher capacity, with short periods of rest. Don't be too intimidated, modifications are available for each workout and each level of fitness. Try this calorie blaster today!


Restorative Yoga (60 mins):  Come to restorative yoga ready to relax and melt into your mat. In this class we hold postures longer, get in deeper and release more fully with the use of props and breath work. You can expect to experience an introduction into yogic philosophy and meditation as well as a more concentrated focus on breathing technique and flexibility building stretches. As always, come with an open mind, forgetting all expectations and judgements. All mats and props are provided, no need to bring any. However, you may be more comfortable dressing in warm layers as the room may be cool.
