Wes Morrow will present his paper "Me, Myself, and My Avatar" at the Puget Sound Undergraduate Philosophy Conference, at the University of Puget Sound, March 30-31, 2012. Wes' paper (which is the main part of the thesis he wrote for his Philosophy major) is one of only 8 student papers selected for the conference.

An article I wrote based on teaching writing in Introduction to Philosophy, "Scaffolded Writing as a Tool for Critical Thinking: Teaching Beginning Students How to Write Arguments," received an honorable mention for the American Association of Philosophy Teachers Lenssen Prize, a biennial prize for the best research article regarding teaching and learning in philosophy.
