News is about Amanda Kunz
They are: Undergraduate Student

I am pleased to report another cause for celebration for the CWU Music Department: please join me in congratulating CWU composition student Amanda Kunz—she has recently won Opus 7’s 2012-2013 Student Choral Composition Contest! She is one of two winners of this year’s competition; her winning piece is entitled “A Single Rose” and is scored for women’s choir (SSAA). This competition was open to students throughout the Northwest (including Alaska), so Amanda has distinguished herself out of a field of excellent and very talented competitors. She receives a cash prize and a performance of her composition on Opus 7’s “All Northwest” concert, at St. Mark’s Cathedral in Seattle on May 11th. Further details can be found at opus7.org. Congratulations to Amanda!
