Cummings and Dippmann chaired a panel

Bobby Cummings and Jeffrey Dippmann Faculty Member

On March 18, Cummings and Dippmann chaired a panel and presented at the 12th Annual Meeting of the Asian Studies Development Program in Nashville, TN. Their panel, entitled "Infusing Southeast Asian Studies Into the Middle and High School Curriculum of Washington State," featured presentations by Teresa Ramirez (Adna Middle/High School) and Ann Marie DeCollibus (Ferndale High School), two of the participants in last summer's four week Fulbright-Hays Study Abroad Program in Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand. The presentations illustrated how Teresa and Ann Marie have incorporated the experience into their own curriculum. The Fulbright-Hays grant was administered by Cummings, Dippmann, and James Cook (History).
