An article I wrote based on teaching writing in Introduction to Philosophy, "Scaffolded Writing as a Tool for Critical Thinking: Teaching Beginning Students How to Write Arguments," received an honorable mention for the American Association of Philosophy Teachers Lenssen Prize, a biennial prize for the best research article regarding teaching and learning in philosophy.
