Professor and Chair Gregg Schlanger has a closing reception and artist lecture presentation this Friday, October 18th at Spokane Falls Community College Art Gallery. The exhibition, Mapping the Spokane - River is an art installation addressing issues about the river's rich cultural and natural history, the quality of life and the condition of the water, within the Spokane River watershed.

Professor David Bieloh had a very busy summer on the professional side. Here is a list of client projects completed and/or is currently working on: 1) Branding for The Run House, a running and fitness store in Benicia, California. 2) Branding for Hambonz babecue, a catering company in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 3) Branding for the Federal Bureau of Investigations Dallas SWAT team, in Dallas, Texas. 4) Branding for Vision Press, an offset printing company in Addison, Texas. 5) Branding for Security State Bank & Trust, a Texas Bank. 6) Poster and T-shirt design for Crossfit Life, 100-Day Burpee Challenge, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 7) Book Cover and full Book Design for Zone 3 Press. Book is titled "Frost in the Low Areas," by Karen Skolfield. 8) Cover for Zone 3 Press fall book.

She received the Arlington Camera Award, Joyce Elaine Grant Exhibition, Texas Woman’s University, Denton, Texas; selected by Sarah Kennel, Associate Curator, Department of Photographs at the National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C.

Professor Klutenkamper’s work has been included in two Exhibitions: 1) Fall National Exhibition, Marin Museum of Contemporary Art, Novato, California; juried by Jessica Brier, Assistant Curator of Photography, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. The show runs August 31 - October 6. 2) Musings, 18th Annual Photographic Competition Exhibition, Photo Center NW (North West), Seattle, Washington; juried by John A. Bennette, Curator and Collector – where she received an Honorable Mention, Musings, Photo Center Northwest, Seattle, Washington; Selected by John A. Bennette, Curator and Collector. The show ran August 2 - September 15.
