CWU ceramics Professor Stephen Robinson's had work accepted into the “UNF National Juried Exhibition.” Juror Bede Clarke selected 47 works from 245 pieces that were submitted by 87 artists. The exhibition will be hosted by the University of North Florida Gallery of Art from March 4 - April 18.

CWU Photography Professor Allyson Klutenkamper currently has work on display at the Collective Visions Gallery in Bremerton, WA, until March 1. Professor Allyson Klutenkamper also has work in a show at the PhotoPlace Gallery in Middlebury, VT titled "Imagined Realities" juried by surrealist photographers Robert and Shana Parkeharrison that will be on display until March 14.

There is a catalog for the show available for purchase. Professor Allyson Klutenkamper was also selected by juror Buzz Spector, Dean of College and Graduate School of Art at Washington University, to exhibit images at "PN29: Open," located at the Tipton Gallery in Johnson City, TN from February 17-March 14.

Upon completion of Fall Quarter 2013 student teaching at Tacoma School of the Arts, an art based high school in the Tacoma Public School District, Michele was hired immediately in this school. Michele teaches both beginning and advanced Illustration to 9th - 12th graders. Thank you Dr. Ballou for being part of Michele's path to finding this amazing place of learning. TSOTA supports integrated teaching, student paths beyond high school through a transition program, and is a place where teachers are advocates for each and every student. And thank you to Terri Placentia, head of the Visual Arts Department at TSOTA and Michele's mentor teacher, for sharing her rich knowledge of 35 years teaching art.
