Geology of Washington: Field trip to Frenchman Coulee
The Department of Geological Sciences at CWU offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs with stimulating classroom, laboratory and field experiences and opportunities to be involved in research with faculty in tectonics, climate, geochemistry, geodesy, volcanology, and more. All based out of the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
If you're planning to transfer to CWU from another college and are considering declaring your major in the Geological Sciences department, there are some courses you can take in advance to set you up to start right into the major when you arrive at CWU.
The department also offers a Masters program in Geological Sciences that prepares students for professional employment in geoscience careers or for continuing graduate studies at the doctoral level.
