Marc Fairbanks Award

The Marc Fairbanks Award is named for an alumnus of the department whose love of geography and the outdoors led to the development of a popular mountain biking map. Proceeds of the map sales help fund the award is given annual to students who show promise in geographic information systems and other geographic techniques and who have been helpful in the GIS Lab.
