Knowledge and Skills Developed:

• Knowledge of the location of the countries, sub-national regions, cities, and physical features in the Northeast and Southeast Asia.
• Awareness of the main patterns in the environments, demography, culture diversity, geopolitics, and economic development in the region and the factors shaping those patterns.
• Appreciation for the important, recent changes in Asia, particularly its rapid but uneven economic development, including the geography and consequences of those changes.
• Ability to interpret the region’s geography both in writing and in an oral presentation.
