Quantitative analysis assessment in geography and resource management. Emphasis on spatial statistics.

Knowledge and Skills Developed:

  • Knowledge of various principals of data anlaysis.
  • Ability to use various descriptive statistics and graphical procedures to summarize a data set, with a special emphasis on the assessment of spatial data.
  • Ability to use various inferential statistics to test hypotheses, including awareness of the assumptions that underlie various tests and the available methods to evaluate whether those assumptions are met.
