Washington State Scholarships

 

Act Six Deadline: November 05, 2019

Act Six is a leadership and scholarship program that connects local faith-based community affiliates with faith- and social justice-based colleges.

College Success Foundation Deadline: February 2020

The Leadership 1000 Scholarship awards funding to certain high school seniors attending eligible high schools and who are planning to enroll in a Washington state college or university.

Sea Mar Scholarship 

Sea Mar awards more than one hundred scholarships each year to highly deserving Washington state students.

The WashBoard awards several scholarships to students in Washington state. 

Washington State Apple Education Fund

The scholarship applications will reopen on September 15th, 2019 for the 2020-2021 school year.

WAEF was founded in 1994 by members of Washington’s tree fruit industry with a desire to advance the industry’s charitable work.  Today, WAEF supports college-bound young people, provides scholarship training in regional high schools, funds the work of community and school organizations providing scholastic assistance to farmworker families and connects the values of tree fruit industry members with good works in the community.

Washington State Opportunity Scholarship Deadline: February 2020

WSOS offers two scholarship programs for Washington state students pursuing a credential in high-demand Washington state industries. 

Washington Women In Need 

The WWIN scholarship choose women who are ready for transformational life change, and have demonstrated financial need to help them cover the cost of their college degree.

National Scholarships 

Education Matters Scholarship  Deadline: November 30, 2019

Speaking up for education could lead to helping you pay for your own. One applicant will be awarded our $5,000 Education Matters Scholarship.

Hispanic National Scholarship Fund Deadline: February 2020

HSF empowers families with the knowledge and resources to successfully complete a higher education, while providing scholarships and support services to as many exceptional students as possible.

Pride Foundation Opens: October 11, 2019

The scholarship is for anyone that is part of the LGBTQ+ or an allied student. The Pride Foundation is looking for someone that has shown leadership within the LGBTQ+ community or within their field of study, as well as demonstrates significant financial need. 

Susan Jane Russell College Scholarship Deadline: January 8, 2020

The scholarship is awared to a high school senior planning on attending a community college, college, university, or art school in the fall of 2020, majoring in the visual arts or arts education. The student has to submit a portfolio through the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
