Okanogan Valley GEAR UP is a federally funded six year program preparing all students to succeed in post secondary education. Original OVGU grant partners include seven North Central Washington (NCW) school districts, Central Washington University  (CWU), Wenatchee Valley College (WVC), Secondary Education for Migrant Youth (SEMY), Northwest Learning and Achievement Group (NLA), CWU Bridges Program and CWU Cornerstone Project.

Partnerships developed since grant implementation in September 2005 include: North Central Education Service District, Big Bend Community College, Community Technology of NCW, Texas Instruments, Expanded Learning Educators, Washington State University, U.S. Forest Service, Career Path Services, Campfire U.S.A, Okanogan Valley Land Council and Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (LIGO).
