On behalf of the entire Central Washington University community, I would like to welcome you to the CWU Giving Society.
As an institution, we want to honor your dedication and commitment to the University by offering you continued insider access to the impact you make on student lives. Your ongoing support and advocacy is extremely important and continues to shape the future here at Central.
From unprecedented enrollment growth, to being recognized by the Economist as the top institution in the state of Washington, Central Washington University continues to be recognized on the regional and national stage for what has always made it exceptional-- personalized learning experiences, world-class faculty, a university-wide commitment to each student’s success --- all of which prepare students to make meaningful contributions in their communities and professions from day one.
The great challenge and opportunity in front of us is to continue to keep Central growing and evolving, while keeping its access mission focused on what has always made it successful --- providing the best student experience in the West. This brand of education is not only important, but it is also extremely relevant in a world that needs the type of graduates that Central provides --- individuals who know how to think, who know how to get things done, and have the grit and tenacity to achieve greatness on the regional, national and international stage.
For 125 years, Central Washington University has been providing this type education. Our 100,000 alumni across the country and around the world are living examples of the significant impact this type of education has on student’s lives. Moreover, you as a member of a giving society are a significant part of the University’s story and impact as well. You continue to make the Wildcat experience alive and well and for that we are extremely grateful.
Thank you for being an active and integral part of this amazing community. As always, I welcome your thoughts and perspective on how we can continue to make Central Washington University all that it can be in the hearts and minds of our students. I look forward to our continued dialogue and conversations through these newsletters and hope to see you at the College of Arts and Humanities Showcase event on May 9, at the Seattle Art Museum or another event soon.
